The Yamaha F250 NCB is a 4.2-liter V6 four-stroke outboard engine designed for large offshore vessels. This model features a 30-inch extra-long shaft and utilizes a Double Overhead Camshaft (DOHC) design with 24 valves for efficient combustion. The engine is equipped with Drive-by-Wire digital controls, Digital Electric Steering (DES), and the TotalTilt function for simplified operation. It includes the Thrust Enhancing Reverse Exhaust (TERE) system to improve maneuverability while backing up. The fuel delivery is managed by a multi-point Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system. With a gear ratio of 1.75:1 and a high-output 70-amp alternator, this unit provides consistent power for onboard electronics and propulsion. This engine is intended for installation on transoms requiring a 30-inch shaft length and is compatible with standard BIA mounting patterns.
