Payment Methods
Outboard orders settle by domestic Bank Wire or ACH only. Every order — from a 9.9 HP kicker to a quad-rigged 425 — uses the same clean settlement path so the price on the product page is the price on the invoice.
Bank Wire / ACH (accepted)
After your order is placed, a signed proforma invoice with secure wire / ACH instructions is emailed to you and shown on your order confirmation page. Use the order number as the wire reference.
- Wire clears in 1 business day
- ACH clears in 1–3 business days
- Crated outboard dispatched within 24 hours of clearance
- No processing surcharge passed to the buyer
Security
The checkout page and order confirmation are served over a 256-bit SSL connection. Bank details are stored server-side and shown only after an order is placed. We never ask for your bank login, debit-card PIN, or one-time passcode.
Payment timing
Payment is required within 48 hours of placing the order to hold dispatch slot and freight reservation. If you need extended terms (net-15 / net-30) for a commercial fleet order, contact support@somersetmotorsports.com before placing the order.
What we do NOT accept
Credit cards, PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, Zelle, cryptocurrency, and third-party financing are off the table. Each one adds 2–4% in processor fees that would otherwise end up on your invoice. Keeping a clean settlement path is what lets us publish freight-inclusive prices.
